Our little tribe is batting .750 for the day. We watched a noisy red
shouldered hawk teaching her two chicks to hunt while on our way to
Box 1, but their family was more successful than ours. We found all
the landmarks mentioned in the clues for Box 1, and the hiding place
was exactly as described - but no box. More luck on Boxes 2-4,
although we took a 30 minute wild goose chase on Box 2. A very clever
series of boxes. Wonder what was in Box 1?

I also wonder what is in Box 1...I had a wonderful time with this
series. It appeared to me that the area had been washed out but this
springs storms.
I hope there will be a replacement as I am eager. Still puzzling
over this one :)

We noticed at least two massive sycamores down in the immediate area
of Box 1, so I think you're right. Daughter of the Old Dominion says
she plans to replace the box at some point in the future.
